Position: Immigration & Business Law Case Coordinator (Junior)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Location: Coquitlam, BC

This position is not a routine administrative job.

You will work directly with a senior lawyer on real immigration and business law files, and gradually take ownership of case coordination, document preparation, and client communication.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in immigration or legal operations, rather than someone seeking a short-term or purely clerical position.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate immigration and business-related legal files from intake to submission Prepare and organize client documents, forms, and supporting materials Communicate with clients in English and Korean (email, phone, meetings) Assist with legal correspondence and filing preparation Maintain accurate and organized electronic file systems Support the lawyer with case tracking, deadlines, and follow-ups

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Fluent in English and Korean (spoken and written) Strong sense of responsibility and ownership over assigned work Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced law firm environment

 

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Prior experience in immigration consulting, a law firm, or a related professional office Basic understanding of Canadian immigration processes Experience with legal or professional documentation Interest in growing into a case manager or legal operations role
